The fall in the number of farms and the decline in family employment are leading to an increase in the proportion of salaried work and the development of employment by third-party employers. Based on a hundred or so surveys of employees, farmer-employers, third-party employers and players in the employment and training sectors, the CAPSAgri study formulates a coherent set of actions to meet the challenges of making the profession of agricultural employee attractive in a context of labour shortages and strong competition between sectors of activity where employment is under pressure.
