Information

This year we will be presenting three projects aimed at better understanding, anticipating and controlling respiratory disorders (RD) in young cattle: the DECIDE and Septime projects use data analysis and modelling methods. Their aim is to provide a decision-making tool to help prevent clinical episodes and improve the cost/benefit ratio of treatments. The tool is based on an RT propagation model and sensor data. The Vigigrippe project aims to improve knowledge of the aetiology of TRs in real time. The BEBOP project, which focuses on analysing the behaviour of JDs through the development of video and automated image processing. This project has produced an algorithm capable of detecting the different activities and postures of young cattle. The performance of this algorithm will be presented. The FEEDLAME project (flash presentation), the aim of which is to estimate the impact of lameness in young cattle and identify ways of controlling it.
