Information
Carnot France Futur Elevage is a network of public research laboratories dedicated to the livestock sector, accredited by the French Ministry of Research. It brings together leading players in scientific support for livestock farming: INRAE, Institut Agro, Oniris, CIRAD, Toulouse Veterinary School, Idele, IFIP, ITAVI and the University of Tours. Carnot's main objective is to develop public-private partnerships to support innovation for tomorrow's sustainable livestock farming and to enhance the attractiveness of companies and sectors.
Each year, Carnot funds initiatives to develop the scientific and technical skills of its members. Within this framework, the MENTOR project, aimed at proposing early feeding strategies to improve the robustness of chickens, has been financed in 2021 by Carnot. It will be presented at the Sommet de l'Élevage 2023 by Vincent Jonchère (UMR BOA, INRAE).
