Grazed grassland is a major source of protein in suckler systems, with the key to boosting the system's protein autonomy. After quantifying this source of protein within the reach of cows' mouths, various levers for extending grazing will be presented through analytical trials conducted as part of the Cap Protéines project. The experimental farm at Thorigné-d'Anjou d'Anjou in Maine et Loire will be presenting the use of carry-over grazing.
