pHix-up is a blend of several magnesium oxide sources, selected and formulated in order to guarantee a controlled effect on rumen pH. Designed with unique, industrial expertise, pHix-up acts directly on the rumen pH by neutralising the excess of acids produced by bacterial fermentation. It combines the best performing magnesium compounds providing both a fast-acting and long-lasting effect. At pH 5 to 7, kinetic and neutralising capacity are specific to each MgO source depending on the surface area, granulometry, origin ... pHix-up has been developed as a blend of several MgO to reduce this incertitude with a product that guarantees a constant and reliable effect on ruminal pH (unique formula, specific process, quality control). Thanks to its great neutralising capacity of 39mEq/g, pHix-up is more than 3 times more powerful than sodium bicarbonate (12mEq/g). pHix-up efficiency is also linked to its high solubility in the rumen leading to a high magnesium content solubilised to meet the cow requirements. With pHix-up, you can substitute all buffers of the ration as well as magnesium sources.
