Made from quality, polished chromium vanadium, hoof testers. Highest quality, forged with the large measure 19 in. (480 mm) in length, with a 5 1/4 in (133 mm) x 6 in. (152 mm) head. Rust free material.
This hoof tester is designed especially for perfect horse shoe fitting. The industry's best hoof tester. These hoof testers are often used as veterinary tools, and as a farrier tool. These hoof testers have smooth handles for comfortable use.
Maintenance:
To maintain the tool clean between the end stops, the two flat surfaces between the rivet and the blade, with a wire brush and oil the rivet with a good quality lubricating oil on a weekly basis. This will dramatically improve the longevity of the tool.
