VALOPRO NRJ

Description

Helps improve the technical and economic performance of livestock farms. Valopro NRJ is a solution designed to help boost energy efficiency and improve digestive comfort by increasing ruminal pH. It can be used for both dairy and fattening production, and benefits from solid field experience in France and abroad. Added on top of feed, Valopro NRJ helps improve milk and meat production performance. A recent trial carried out on an experimental station using Valopro NRJ in high doses showed a significant increase in ECM (rate-corrected milk) of +2.1 kg of milk, representing a return on investment for the farmer of 1:8. But it can also be used to optimize feed reformulation, in order to gain in competitiveness or flexibility (limiting the impact of rising prices and the lack of availability of certain raw materials). In this case, the environmental impact of the formula was reduced by 12% (Climate change impact criterion in CO2 equivalent calculated with the Matriciel tool, France context, 2023), while providing an economic gain in formulation of 3 cents per animal per day.
