Livestock territories: grassland and pastoral systems, a strength for the future.

In the face of major agricultural, climate and societal transitions, what future do we want for livestock farming regions? This conference invites participants to take a step back and look differently at grassland and pastoral systems, their role in our regions and the challenges they face: generational renewal, climate change, societal expectations, and the need to sustain economic activity. Drawing in particular on Erik Orsenna’s perspective, this event will bring together a long-term vision, on-the-ground realities and public policy levers for action. It is an invitation to move beyond observation alone and show how grassland and pastoral livestock farming can be a real strength in building the future of our regions.
