Description
The study of hen behaviour has revealed the emission of appeasement pheromones secreted by the hen's uropygial gland when the eggs hatch.
We were able to synthesise a structural analogue of this pheromone and study its effects in a control situation (laboratory, research station), as well as on the farm.
