CABI MOOV: Mobile poultry house for laying hens or broilers
Description
Fully-equipped mobile henhouse for laying hens or broiler chickens, with an average capacity of 250 animals living indoors on slatted floors. It can be delivered in kit form, and does not require entry to the henhouse, as feed supply and egg collection take place from outside. It complies with regulations governing livestock buildings and organic farming. The hen house surface area ranges from 20 m² to 100 m². The mobility of the henhouse is a plus for poultry in the heat of summer, or to protect them from the cold in winter. Poultry also have free access to fresh grass at all times. This regular rotation of the run reduces insect pressure, and therefore health risks.
