Often compared to forage maize, sorghum, thanks to its wide genetic diversity, offers multiple valorizations: production of forage for animal feed or biomass for industrial use, grain production, cover crop...This diversity represents a real opportunity for ruminant nutrition but also a constraint due to the complexity of selecting the appropriate variety and agronomic constraints. The conference will focus on the crop management of sorghum, its genetic diversity, and its valorization in dairy production and fattening.
