Methane is available via the milk bottle from the monthly performance check. The calculation is based on spectra and a mathematical model.
Each cow delivers its methane emission level.
An analysis is then carried out in Mil'klic.
The results are used to suggest ways forward in terms of nutrition, forage and management.
