Optimum data management in the agri-food sector is crucial, both for steering the sustainability of agri-food systems on the basis of measured, scientifically robust indicators, and for responding to the many and frequent requests from stakeholders (customers, NGOs, administrative reporting, etc.). The Foodpilot system makes it possible to identify, collect and organise data, as well as to measure and manage progress trajectories effectively. On the basis of real data, we show the differences in environmental impact for the same product produced under different systems (e.g. conventional, organic, Label Rouge, Bleu-Blanc-Coeur) as well as the levers and actions to be implemented to reduce them.
