Improving water vole control: new knowledge and prospects
Oct 2, 2024 — 12:00 pm - 2:00 PM
Centre de conférence - Salle 1 A
Information
With 3.5 million hectares of grassland, the Massif Central is the largest permanent prairie in Europe. Unfortunately, grass production is regularly compromised by the presence of the water vole. For several years, research and development efforts have been undertaken to improve knowledge about this species, enabling farmers to fight it more effectively, early on, collectively, and in a well-considered manner. This conference will provide an opportunity to review the progress of these efforts and share experiences on establishing collective dynamics.
