Description
The "Rencontres Pasto" aim to bring together French pastoralism actors at the Sommet de l'Elevage, to highlight this sustainable farming method and its numerous benefits for territories, to exchange practices, and to promote a policy in favor of pastoralism. This first edition in 2024, initiated by the organizers of the Sommet and organized by the Réseau Pastoral AuRA and the SIDAM, also aims to give pastoralism a place of honor at the Sommet de l'Elevage in view of the International Year of Pastoralism organized by the FAO in 2026.
