Bee'Full Plus and Diagnostic Patho Bee, Analytical kit to detect and evaluate pathogens harbored by bees
Description
Several pathogen typologies are analyzed on live bees using the Patho Bee® kit: intestinal parasites, bacteria and viruses. The number of pathogens selected - two nosema, American foulbrood and the eight most representative viruses - makes it possible to assess the health risk at the lowest analytical cost. Based on information provided by the beekeeper, scenarios developed from observations in the experimental apiary, and analytical results, an expert clinician proposes a scheme for preventing the risk of collapse by administering Bee'Full®Plus. Apart from Varroa d. management drugs, the conventional approach does not include beekeeping antivirals, and prohibits the use of any drug to manage nosema and foulbrood. Bee'Full®Plus is a complementary feed whose early administration is accompanied by a significant reduction in pathogen carriage.
