Description
Drago Gold: it is the first sunflower-sorghum-hemp head equipped with a super-performing mechanics allowing for more power, robustness and total harvesting without losses.
DragoGold already won the Technical Innovation Award at EIMA Bologna 20-21, SOMMET D’OR 2021, SAVIGLIANO FAIR and FIERAGRICOLA 2022, nomination at SIMA 2022 for the hydraulic stalk chopper: the stalk is cut at ground level and the sunflower harvested up to a height of 1,5 m.
Sunflower heads present on the market are equipped with mechanical transmission stalk choppers, which limit the maximum distance between harvesting height and chopping height, due to the arising of shaft vibration.
Drago Gold, on the contrary, is the only equipped with hydraulic stalk chopper which allows to cut the stalk at the ground while harvesting the sunflower up to a height of 1,5 m: this way only the head of the flower is harvested without stem, the harvester works nimbly, work is faster, harvest is complete without losses and chopping is optimal.
The hyper-dimensioned auger with security clutch (Olimac exclusive) allows for a higher forward speed avoiding all obstructions and loss of product.
