Description
Developed after three years of research, the COWBIOT® process detects heifers carrying the protozoan Blastocystis. Once viewed as a harmful parasite, Blastocystis is now recognized as an indicator of good intestinal health and a predictor of long-term well-being. The PCR test is performed on fecal samples taken from heifers aged between 12 and 14 months.
