Every summer in the Pyrenees, herds led by their male and female farmers leave the valleys to reach the high-altitude pastures. During a walking journey across the mountain range, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, Leila and Léna, students at an agronomy school, went to meet the women and men who watch over these herds. Eight portraits captured at the heart of their daily lives. Eight voices revealing the tension between passion, sensitivity and pragmatism. This documentary received the Audience Award at the International Festival of Pastoralism and Wide Open Spaces Films in Grenoble. Screening in the presence of the directors.
