Sheep, Cattle and Poultry: Insights from Four Years of Testing on Our Agrivoltaic Pilot Sites

Oct 6, 2026 — 02:00 pm - 3:00 PM

Agora des transitions (Hall 2)

Information

After four years of monitoring our agrivoltaic pilot projects, come and discover the insights gained from experiments conducted on sheep, cattle and poultry farms. This conference will bring together Laurent Solas (Chamber of Agriculture of Saône-et-Loire), Julien Fradin (Idele) and Jean-Simon Vuzé, a farmer, to share technical, scientific and field-based perspectives. Together, they will present the key findings from these experiments and discuss the impacts of agrivoltaics on livestock farming systems, agricultural production, animal welfare, and the opportunities it offers to farming operations. The conference will also provide a valuable opportunity for dialogue between speakers and participants, encouraging the exchange of experiences, practical feedback from the field, and discussions on the concrete challenges and opportunities of agrivoltaics in livestock farming.
