Information

Climate change is transforming pastoral vegetation and disrupting the availability of forage resources. Drawing on studies of pastoral vegetation in the Massif Central, the Alps and Mediterranean environments, this conference will present the changes observed in pastoral ecosystems and their consequences for herds. It will also provide insights to help better anticipate these changes and identify ways to adapt pastoral practices and herd management, in order to strengthen the resilience of livestock systems in the face of climate hazards.
