With summer droughts becoming more frequent, adaptation is necessary. Several solutions exist to get through the summer grass gap without feeding livestock. It is possible to adopt standing grass grazing or to use other crops that are more drought-resistant, such as sorghum. Finally, if feeding is still necessary, limiting mechanization and associated costs is possible through the use of bale grazing.
