Oct 9, 202511:30 am - 12:30 PM

Centre de conférence - Salle 5

Information

The quality of silage, whether from multi-species grasslands or alfalfa, or hay, is determined in the field. Each intervention, from mowing to harvesting, influences dry matter losses, nutritional value and contamination risks. This conference will highlight the points of vigilance at each stage, in order to guarantee optimal conservation and to preserve both the quantity and quality of the forage. The following topics will be covered: drying speed in the field, the impact of tedding, windrowing and conservation operations on quantitative and qualitative losses.
