Role of the Technical Malicious Act Prevention Unit (CPTM) Represented by the unit head, Major CLEDAT Bertrand, and his deputy, Chief Warrant Officer HIEGEL Philippe, we are two military personnel stationed in the department. The security referent in the gendarmerie is a specialized military officer who assists elected officials, establishment managers, shopkeepers, businesses, and farmers in preventing malicious acts. Its main missions are: - Advice and expertise: securing public and private buildings, including farms; - Prevention and awareness: organizing meetings for a varied audience to disseminate best practices in security; - Partnership: working in conjunction with local elected officials, municipal police forces, state services, and other relevant stakeholders. Role of the N'TECH (New Technologies) gendarme, represented by Chief Warrant Officer CHIFFLOT Xavier: - Specialist in cybercrime and digital investigations; - Technical support for brigades and investigation units in the IT field; - Information and awareness for individuals, businesses, and communities about digital risks.
