Many areas are facing fire risks, particularly in connection with agricultural decline and climate change. The Lot department has been addressing this issue since the 1990s. Thanks to the testimonies provided by representatives of the Lot Departmental Council and livestock farmers, this conference demonstrates the importance of local involvement in reestablishing pastoral systems in conjunction with the agricultural profession and local stakeholders to combat fires.
