Since late 2024, DeLaval France has been offering its farmers the opportunity to recycle their used rubber milking liners and hoses, giving them a second life. This free and innovative service promotes the sustainability of French dairy farms. DeLaval France has partnered with Aliapur, a major player in tire recycling in France (outlets: roads, playgrounds, energy, etc.). Thanks to this partnership, DeLaval can offer its farmers a way to dispose of their rubber waste while improving the sustainability of their operations. The system is simple: when liners/hoses are replaced, the used products are stored in a cardboard box. This box is then collected by a technician, who brings the waste back to the dealership for sorting and storage in big bags. Once filled, Aliapur intervenes to collect the waste and ensure its recovery. Launched in late 2024, the system already shows concrete results: over 30 dealerships involved and 7 tons of rubber recycled. A first in the sector, with an initiative that meets the environmental expectations of the agricultural industry.
