The CurvePilot is a steering assistance system developed by Kverneland for its mowers, aiming to optimize mowing performance through automated management. The system automatically controls the raising and lowering of the cutterbars, especially at headlands and in curved areas, thereby reducing manual operator interventions. The CurvePilot adjusts the working width in real-time, managing the overlap between the rear mowers and the front mower. This allows for optimal adaptation to curves, slopes, and uneven terrain, ensuring a uniform cut. CurvePilot parameters are configured via the IsoMatch Tellus terminal, offering a user-friendly interface for controlling and monitoring operations. By automating complex adjustments, the CurvePilot reduces the operator's workload and fatigue. Precise management of overlaps and cutting heights ensures homogeneous mowing, even in difficult terrain conditions.
