Buildings: Rationalizing investments and costs (BRIC) in ruminant farming
Description
This is a mobile application developed by the Livestock Institute. From their computer or smartphone, the farmer or advisor can create a free or paid account depending on the chosen options. Once the account is created, the user specifies their department. They can then design one or more construction/extension projects for livestock buildings and estimate the cost using updated prices for their region. The free version of the tool provides access to a limited number of simulations and predefined building models. The annual subscription, on the other hand, allows for an unlimited number of simulations and free parameterization of building dimensions (corridor width, building heights, etc.).
