Bale Retainer
Description
The KRONE bale retainer is a hydraulic solution that holds the round bale at the moment of ejection, stopping its momentum without stressing the baler's rear gate. It is very useful in hilly areas to prevent incidents of bales rolling down slopes. This is a "manufacturer" solution, with no impact on the machine's warranty. A hydraulic clamp is attached to the baler's chassis without modifying it. The flaps are controlled by two single-acting cylinders. They are adjustable to ensure perfect retention regardless of bale density; the bale falls into the clamp and is stopped immediately upon ejection from the chamber. There is no longer any need to move to a flat area to drop the bale, saving time and fuel.
