Faced with this observation, a Call for Expressions of Interest allowed, in 2022, 11 territories to carry out diagnoses to assess their respective situations and highlight levers for action to prevent veterinary desertification. During this conference, the main results and levers following these diagnoses will be presented. Flat-rate payment will be a specific example of one of these identified avenues: an opportunity to discuss the advantages and drawbacks of this new way of remunerating veterinarians and the positive impact it could have on the network and for livestock farming.
